Ron Farrell (1943-2020)

Farrell Growth Group (FGG) was founded in 1997 by Ron Farrell, Bob Dow and several partners when Ron retired from the position of Vice President, Southern Division for Wilbur-Ellis. Ron served as President and CEO of FGG until the end of 2019. Ron was a true visionary and his career touched many in agriculture, especially those in the crop protection business and in direct production agriculture. Ron’s focus in 2019 was to insure that FGG carried on the company mission in his absence, “to contribute to each customer’s success by understanding their goals and objectives, providing industry insight and foresight, and developing tools and strategies that assist them as they strive for profitable and sustainable growth.” Ron passed away in January of 2020.

Brad Oelmann –  joined Farrell Growth Group in August 2020 and was named President in September 2021.  As a proven leader in multiple positions throughout his career, Brad augments a team of leaders with various backgrounds and 30 years of industry experience. Brad is considered one of the most capable leaders in the crop input industry with experience leading large and small agribusinesses. He also has considerable experience working with private and cooperatively owned ag retail businesses and is highly regarded as someone who knows how to get something done. Brad is well-suited to his new consulting role making him a great fit for our customers as they navigate through a challenging ag environment.
